Frequently asked questions
Grouped answers on booking, recording, delivery and payment. If anything is unclear, terms and conditions and the privacy policy prevail.
Booking and payment
How do I book a session?
Use the contact form, call 020 244 8193 or email [email protected]. State the service, number of songs and preferred dates. Within 2 working days you receive a proposal and written quote.
When is my booking firm?
After written acceptance of the quote and receipt of the 40% deposit. Without deposit we hold the slot only for a few working days.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer for deposit and balance; card payment in the studio on the session day by arrangement. IBAN and reference appear on quote and invoice.
Can I pay as a business?
Yes, with valid VAT ID and company details. Payment term 14 days from invoice date unless the quote says otherwise. Consumers usually pay before or on the session day.
How do cancellation and rescheduling work?
More than 7 days ahead: cancel or move free of charge. Shorter notice, no-shows and force majeure follow terms and conditions; the deposit may then be (partly) forfeited.
During the session
How long does it take to record one song?
For a three- to four-minute lead vocal, allow two to four hours including comping. A prepared band can track multiple songs in one day; exact timing is on your quote.
Can I bring someone along?
One or two guests in the control room is fine. Larger groups need prior notice because of space and focus in the live room (max. 6 musicians).
Do you provide instruments?
We have a drum kit, bass and guitar amps and DI boxes. Bring your own guitars and bass unless agreed otherwise. Vocal and podcast sessions use studio mics and pop filters.
What if the session runs over?
Extensions only when you ask and the next slot allows it. Extra time is billed per hour or half hour at the rate on your quote.
Should I bring headphones?
Not required: closed and semi-open studio headphones are available. Bring your own pair if you prefer a familiar model.
Files and delivery
What format do I receive?
24-bit WAV at 48 kHz by default, or your project sample rate. Delivery via download link or your cloud when you grant access.
How long do you keep sessions?
24 months after the last session of the project. We then delete raw multitracks and backups unless you arrange a written extension.
How many mix and master revisions are included?
2 revision rounds after the first delivery, within reasonable scope on the quote. Extra mix time may be billed at the mixing hourly rate.
Can I supply stems for mixing?
Yes. Provide labelled WAV tracks without master-bus processing. Read delivering stems and confirm track limits upfront (up to 48 tracks on the base rate).
Do you deliver instrumentals?
On request within the agreed revision rounds. Mention it at intake so we reserve time for exports and naming.
Rights and privacy
Who owns the recordings?
After full payment for the agreed service we deliver files without Soredialhub B.V. claiming ownership of your music. Sample clearance remains your responsibility; see terms.
Do you use my audio to train AI?
No. We do not use client recordings to train machine-learning models and we do not create voice clones without written consent from the person concerned.
What happens to data from the contact form?
Soredialhub B.V. processes data to reply and prepare quotes. Retention and rights are in the privacy policy; cookies in the cookie policy.
May I share photos from my session?

Do I need a data processing agreement?
If you have us process personal data of guests or co-hosts in podcast recordings, a data processing agreement may be required. Ask when booking as a business.
