Podcasts, interviews and voice-over for video need clear speech without room noise. Soredialhub in Amsterdam Westerpark offers a table setup with two broadcast mics, pop filters and monitoring — different from our vocal booth or live room, but with the same focus on gain and comfort.
Book by the hour with engineer (€85 incl. VAT) or the episode package for one raw recording up to sixty minutes (€240). Basic editing in session means trimming silences, cutting obvious bad starts and one consistent mono or stereo file for your editor — not full podcast production with music and jingles. Schedule via contact; hours Mon–Fri 10–19, Sat 11–17.
Process
Prepare
Send format (solo, duo, remote guest), estimated length and deliverable (WAV mono/stereo). We confirm within 2 business days and 40% deposit.
Setup
Mic height, pop filters and headphones for both speakers. Level check at natural speaking volume, not only loud test phrases.
Record
Conversation or script pass; engineer flags problem takes. Water and voice breaks are part of the process.
Basic edit & export
Trim, remove false starts, export WAV. Raw length within package up to 60 min; longer raw needs extra hours.
Who this service is for
Podcast & voice-over suits duo hosts, interview series, internal company shows, explainer narration and creators who want a clean speech track without editing themselves. Solo voice-over works in the same room with one mic and the second position free for guests.
Large-cast fiction is not the fit — capacity (up to 6 people in complex setups) and time are planned differently. Q&A and light two-person panels on site work well.
Table setup
Two speakers face-to-face or in an L, each with dynamic or broadcast condenser on boom or desk arm. Headphone monitoring so you hear each other without feedback. Engineer in the control room or side desk with meters and sight lines.
Unlike music tracking, the focus is intelligibility: steady distance to the capsule, no table rumble, phones on silent. Remote guests via your tool (Zoom, Riverside) on laptop — we record local hosts; baking remote audio into one file is limited and must be agreed upfront.
What basic editing covers
Within the episode package we cut long silences, false starts and obvious retakes. We do not smash loudness to broadcast spec unless agreed; peaks stay safe. Heavy denoise is not default — better to record quietly.
Full podcast post (intro music, ads, chapters, platform upload) sits outside Podcast & voice-over. Many clients use an external editor or our hourly rate €85 for extra cutting. Mixing music under speech is a separate service.
Voice-over vs conversation
Video voice-over: shorter, script by paragraph, more takes per line. We deliver by paragraph or one long take depending on your edit flow. Podcast: continuous talk with natural overlap; editing is lighter than tight scripted reads.
Overlap in duo recordings cannot always be split cleanly. Plan clear handoffs if you need two tracks later. Overlap with vocal prep for singing helps speakers too: hydrate, avoid noise behind the mic.

Net: hour €70.25, episode €198.35. Raw means uncompressed duration before edit; trimmed file may be shorter. Extra raw minutes or heavy edit = more hours. Terms and cancellation 7 days ahead.
Delivery and rights
Default WAV 24 bit/48 kHz, mono or stereo as agreed. Download link or bring SSD. No automatic publishing — you upload to Spotify, YouTube or internal portals.
Content rights stay yours; we process audio as processor under privacy policy and data processing agreement when company data is involved. Session backup 24 months via TransIP B.V. hosting in EU context.
On location
Haarlemmerweg 71, 1014 BD Amsterdam. From Amsterdam Centraal it is about a 12-minute walk via Haarlemmerdijk and Haarlemmerweg. Bus 22 (stop Haarlemmerweg) is a few minutes away on foot. On-street bike parking and charging points; no private parking. Arrive five minutes early for mic check. Two speakers at the table by default; third person only by arrangement due to acoustics.

After the session
Many shows master or mix intro/outro music when the format includes beds. Pure speech rarely needs mastering; check platform loudness if you mix with older episodes.

Does our episode fit the 60-minute raw package?
If the unedited recording is up to sixty minutes, yes — at €240. Longer recordings bill extra hours at €85 or a custom quote.
Can we record four hosts?
Two seats are optimised by default. Four people need a different mic layout and more edit; we quote separately via contact.
Do you deliver formatted MP3 for Spotify?
We deliver WAV; you or your editor export to platform specs. Mp3 preview on request without extra mastering.
Is music and sound design included?
No. Speech recording and basic edit only. Music beds can go through mixing as a separate project.
What if we need to cancel?
More than 7 days out we move for free. Shorter notice: cancellation rules and 40% deposit.
