Terms and conditions
This English text is for convenience only. The Dutch version is legally authoritative. Algemene voorwaarden
In short

- Free cancellation or rescheduling is available until 7 days before the session; later rules are in article 6.
- Mix and mastering include 2 revision rounds by default; extra work is quoted separately.
- Consumers may have a 14-day withdrawal right where applicable; exceptions are listed in article 7.
1. Scope and parties
These terms apply to all agreements between Soredialhub B.V., Haarlemmerweg 71, 1014 BD Amsterdam («Soredialhub», «we»), and the client («you») for recording, mixing, mastering and related studio services in Amsterdam.
They apply together with any written quote or order confirmation. If the quote conflicts with these terms, the quote prevails except where mandatory consumer law says otherwise. Accepting a quote or paying a deposit means you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. Business clients who supply third-party personal data may need a data processing agreement.
2. Definitions
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Consumer | A natural person acting outside their trade or profession. |
| Business client | A client acting in a professional capacity, such as a label, producer or agency. |
| Quote | A written offer describing the service, date, price including and excluding VAT, deposit and any special terms. |
| Session | A reserved time slot in the studio or agreed remote working time for mix/master. |
| Business day | Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in the Netherlands. |
3. Quotes, information and contract formation
Information on soredialhub.click and in the guides is general; essential features appear on services and pages such as vocal recording or delivering stems. We send quotes within 2 business days when requested via [email protected].
The contract is formed when you accept the quote in writing (email is enough) and we confirm, or when we receive your deposit. Until then a hold on the calendar is provisional.
4. Prices and VAT
Site rates are in euros and include 21% VAT unless marked ex VAT. Examples: €340 for a half day of Vocal recording, €520 per song basic band recording, €720 for an EP mix or €520 for album Mastering.
The accepted quote price is binding. Additional work (extra hours, revisions, stems, rush delivery) is done only after your written approval at the quoted rate or current hourly rate (for example €78 for mix tweaks). Business clients receive invoices showing NL812539473B01.
5. Deposit, invoicing and payment
Unless stated otherwise, a 40% deposit of the quoted amount including VAT is due when booking. It is offset against the final balance. The remainder is due before or right after the session (consumers) or within 14 days of invoice date (business clients), using the payment method in the quote.
Late payment by business clients may incur statutory commercial interest and reasonable collection costs. Until full payment we may withhold final masters; session files are kept as in article 9.
6. Cancellation, rescheduling and no-show
| Timing | Effect |
|---|---|
| More than 7 days before the session | Free cancellation or one reschedule; deposit refunded on cancellation or moved to a new date. |
| Within 7 days before the session | Deposit remains due; one reschedule within three months subject to availability. |
| Same-day cancellation or no-show | Full session fee due minus deposit already paid, unless you prove force majeure. |
Send requests to [email protected] or 020 244 8193. We confirm changes in writing. These rules do not limit statutory withdrawal rights where they apply (article 7).
7. Consumer withdrawal
If you are a consumer and contract at a distance (email, phone, contact form), you generally have 14 days to withdraw without giving reasons under Dutch law implementing the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
If you explicitly ask us to start before the withdrawal period ends, you pay a proportionate amount for work already done if you withdraw. For services fully performed after your express prior consent, the right ends once performance is complete. Custom or clearly personalised services may be excluded where the law allows.
Notify withdrawal in writing via [email protected] with your name, address and quote reference. We refund within 14 days of notice where legally required, using the same payment method.
8. Studio rules and safety
The studio has 3 rooms, including a live room of about 42 m² and a booth of about 9 m². Band sessions allow up to 6 musicians at once in the live room. Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday 11:00–17:00. Closed Sunday. Sessions outside these hours by arrangement..
Participants under 16 need written consent from a parent or guardian who contracts and stays present. No smoking or vaping indoors. Follow engineer instructions for safety and hearing protection. Damage to studio property caused by intent or gross negligence is charged to you.
9. Files, delivery, archive and revisions
Unless the quote says otherwise, we deliver recordings and mixes as WAV files via download link or media you supply. Remote mix/master deadlines start when complete, usable multitracks arrive (see stem delivery guide).
Mix and mastering include 2 revision rounds as described on service pages; bundle comments in one message per round. Extra rounds or a new artistic direction after approval are quoted separately, for example at €78 per hour.
We keep session and project files for 24 months after the last activity, then delete them unless you purchase extended storage in writing. You remain responsible for your own backups.
10. Your content and third-party rights
You warrant that music, lyrics, samples and visuals you use do not infringe third-party rights and that any collective-management licences are your responsibility. We provide technical production, not legal advice on sampling or covers.
Artists and session musicians you bring grant permission to record their performance for your project. Credits and neighbouring rights stay between you and those performers.
11. Intellectual property and use
Your works. Compositions and lyrics stay yours or belong to their authors. We do not claim copyright in your music.
Recordings and mixes. Economic rights in recordings you finance pass to you after full payment, to the extent we could claim producer rights as initiator of the fixation. Until payment, use of final masters is limited to project evaluation.
Studio materials. Our internal presets, templates and methods remain ours. Portfolio or social references to your project require your written consent.
AI and voice. We do not use your recordings to train generative models and do not create voice clones without express written consent from the speaker or singer.
12. Liability
We perform services with the care expected of a professional recording studio. Artistic outcome also depends on your preparation and choices; we do not guarantee chart or streaming performance.
Our liability for attributable failure is limited to direct damage up to the invoice amount for that job, except for intent, wilful recklessness or death and personal injury. For business clients indirect loss such as lost profit is excluded.
Website limitations are in the disclaimer.
13. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure caused by force majeure (for example prolonged power loss, serious outage, epidemic, government measure or essential supplier failure). We reschedule in consultation or refund prepaid amounts for undelivered services.
14. Personal data
We process personal data under the GDPR and our privacy policy, including the contact form and FormSubmit. Cookies are explained in the cookie policy; adjust choices via .
15. Complaints, disputes and governing law
Report complaints about delivered work promptly via [email protected] with details and your preferred remedy. We respond within 2 business days.
Consumers may bring disputes before a competent court in the Netherlands under mandatory rules. We try to resolve issues amicably first. EU consumers may use the Commission ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Dutch law applies. For business clients the courts of Amsterdam have jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
16. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the version dated 15 October 2026 applies to new jobs after publication. Ongoing jobs remain on the accepted version unless changes are mandatory.
